Why Blog?

One of the initial things that I ran into as I was setting up the blog post was a simple statement which said, “Tell the readers why you started this blog and what you plan to do with it.” Goodness! This statement couldn’t be more direct but helpful too if you think about it. We live in a time where we are swimming in a vast pool of information and developing theories, the best thing you could do for people is to not bury them in more information that will only leave them more confused, but to leave them with a better understanding of life and the issues surrounding them.

My writing is based on the conviction of:

Coaching: Coaching a generation towards holistic and obedient discipleship

Contending: Contending for the preservation of our generation from counterfeits

Charging: Charging to bring forth the expansion of the Kingdom of Christ to the world

As diverse as this blog seems, it is intended on engaging your heart and mind through those three aspects as it also anticipates your inputs. There is so much to talk about and delve into, and I hope that you reading this post already has your curiosity woken – for my prayer to God is that we will learn and be challenged together.  If you can come out of every post I write having a better understanding and application of God’s Word and insights, I would have served my purpose in this.

I am excited to have you on board; do keep your eyes open for further posts.
